VW Polo Blue Motion

VW have stepped up the ante in the value for money stakes with their Blue Motion Polo; the new model is capable of over 72mpg and has a C02 rating of 103g/Km.
The Blue Motion fills a gap left by the Lupo which Volkswagen cut in response to insufficient sales volume, and although it's not quite as economical as the Lupo, it certail offers impressive figures for its class.
The Blue Motion's 1.4 litre 79bhp engine gives the car a 0-60 time of a shade under 13 seconds which is more than respectable for such an economical car, and company drivers looking to reduce their tax bill will be impressed with the excellent CO2 rating of just over 100g/km. Top speed of the vehicle is said to be about 109mph and the price is expected to be keen.
